Global Drum Prayer
Unite with us as One Global Family for what may become the world’s largest synchronized drum circle. Hundreds of locations will Unify and tune into a live prayer amplified from the heart of Burning Man.
Indigenous Wisdom Keepers will be at the center of this prayer leading the drum circle and uniting the world into one heartbeat.
This prayer is for purification of every heart, mind, and spirit on this planet. It is for the evolution of peace, harmony, and compassion for future generations.
Local time for the sychronized broadcast from BurningMan is 8:30pm. We will gather at 7pm and be treated to stories and songs led by some Native friends. Also, Andy Mertens and friends will debut his song - Standing with Standing Rock. And, of course, some warm up community drumming.
Potluck snacks to share will be welcome.
Drums will be provided.
All ages and skill levels are welcome.
See www.globaldrumprayer.com for more info on the global event.

Whether it’s a concert at the Leach Amphitheater as part of the Waterfest Concert Series or a “band on a boat” traveling up the Fox River making stops at each of our partner locations, Thursday nights will be filled activity on the Oshkosh River Walk (between the bridges). Each week features discounts, prizes and an excuse to start your weekend a day early.
When: Every Thursday night from June 19 through August 28.
Where: UW Oshkosh Alumni Welcome and Conference Center, Mahoney’s Restaurant, Becket’s Restaurant, Ground Round at River’s Edge, The Brooklyn Grill, and the Leach Amphitheater. All located on the Fox River, the Oshkosh River Walk and the WIOUWASH State Trail.

ORI Ensemble Performance
We'll be kickin off our "RiverWalk Tour" at around 5:45pm at "The Power of Hip-Hop" Hip hop benefit concert to benefit the Boys and Girls Club at the Leach Amphitheater just before their event starts. Then we'll be working our way up the river-walk, playin and meeting folks and enjoying the river view. We'll end up at Becket's Restaurant Patio playing a little warm up for Sly Joe and the Smooth Operators at a little after 8pm. We highly recommend both the food and the entertainment this Saturday @ Becket's!
